Currently pickup for a call with double click on the ringing phone or right click on the user within the desktop client is only allowed, when the user is a member of a role with pickup.group rights. Otherwise it’s greyed out.
Pickup for a call with *8{extension} is also possible within the client (or any phone, for that matter), if the user is a member of a team, which is a member of a role with pickup.group rights. However: this user cannot pickup any calls through an intuitive double click or right click.
It seems like an unnecessary greying out of the pickup function in the desktop client, since the rights to pickup the call are there.
