Mobile App Pairing

Learn how to pair the pascom mobile app with your desktop application to stay professionally reachable even when you're on the move.

20. Jan. 2026

To log in to the pascom mobile app, a one-time pairing process is required. During this process, the pascom mobile app is linked to the desktop application. This can either be prepared by your system administrator or – with the appropriate permissions – performed directly by yourself.

The Pairing Process

In a few simple steps, you can connect your mobile device with the pascom app. This process is only required once. After successful pairing, the mobile app can be used permanently and independently of the desktop application.

Open the Settings in the pascom app via the gear icon.
Navigate to the menu item .
Click on the button.

A QR code will now appear on your screen, ready to be scanned with your mobile device.

Download the pascom mobile app from the corresponding store for your smartphone and install it.
Start the pascom mobile app on your smartphone.
Tap on .

Accept the license terms.
Grant the pascom app the necessary permissions for smooth operation.
You can also grant permissions individually, but you should expect limited functionality of the app if critical access is missing.

Tap on again to activate your smartphone’s camera.
Scan the QR code displayed on your desktop application.

After a successful scan, the mobile app requires your private mobile number for full setup.

Your private mobile number is required exclusively for GSM fallback. If you do not have a stable data connection (WLAN/LTE), the pascom mobile app will deliver calls via the classic mobile network. Your business office number will still be signaled to the outside world.

The mobile app now completes the connection to the pascom infrastructure. Once the setup is finished, you will be automatically redirected to the main view of the app.

The process is then also completed in the desktop application. You can close the window by clicking on .

Manual Pairing

If scanning the QR code is not possible, you can bypass the scanning process and authenticate manually.

To do this, tap on before the scan. Enter your Username, Password, and the server address (default is pascom.cloud) in the corresponding fields.

Proxy Server Settings

In corporate networks, the use of a proxy server between the pascom app and the internet may be required to meet security policies or manage network restrictions.

If necessary, enter the following data in the advanced settings:

  • Server: The address of your proxy server.
  • Port: The port of the proxy (default is 3128).
  • Username/Password: Your personal credentials for proxy access.

Troubleshooting: Double Mobile Number

If an error message regarding a mobile number that has already been assigned appears, this is due to the system architecture of the GSM fallback. A mobile phone number can only be linked to exactly one active mobile device systems-wide at any time.

Setting up Mobile Integration

Information for administrators regarding server-side configuration can be found in the guide on Mobile Integration.
