1.1 Search Results

Results are clearly categorized into tabs. In the “All” tab, you will see a summary of contacts, phonebook entries, chats, and the journal.

Click on the corresponding tab (e.g., “Contacts” or “Chat”) to filter the results.
Select the desired entry to directly start an action (call, chat).

The search is intelligent: you don’t need to know the full name. Entering word fragments or the initials of the first and last name is often sufficient (e.g., “ma mu” for “Max Mustermann”).

The intelligent search completes entries automatically.

2. Search in the Dialpad

Searching in the dialpad is a huge convenience in daily work – especially when things need to go fast.

Open the dialpad (phone icon).
Enter a name, an extension, or a phone number.
The pascom app suggests matching entries directly.

This is particularly helpful for quickly finding a colleague to transfer a call to during an active conversation.

Direct search for contacts within the dialpad.

3. Smart Filters in the Contact List

Smart filters help you maintain an overview of your contact list and hide unimportant information.

Click on the next to the contact list search bar.
Select a category (e.g., “Available” or “Unread messages").
The contact list now only shows entries that meet this criterion.
