Learn everything you need to know about making calls with pascom ONE numbers in the cloud.
What is pascom trunking?
pascom Trunking is the term used to describe pascom’s Sip-Trunk. This sip Trunk is not physically set up at your location, but works purely virtually. You only need an internet connection independent from your location to use the pascom trunk.
Manage pascom phone numbers
You can easily manage pascom phone numbers in the mypascom portal. To do so, log in to the mypascom portal with your account data and click on the menu . There you will find an overview of your subscriptions. Click on the button at the pascom cloud telephone system where you want to manage the phone numbers.
In the details overview, you will find an overview of your phone numbers in the bottom area.
Status of pascom phone numbers
In the phone number overview you will find a status for each phone number, which we explain briefly below.
|Pending||The phone number is still in the registration phase. This process can take up to 20 minutes|
|Active||The phone number can be used actively in the pascom PBX|
|Dead||The phone number is linked to the subscription. After cancellation of the subscription, the registration of the phone number is canceled|
Additionally you will get a message in the admin panel under > at the basic settings if the pascom Trunk is usable.
Create or buy new pascom phone numbers.
Within the scope of your subscription you can use phone numbers, which are included free of charge by your licenses. The number of usable phone numbers is thus based on the number of booked licenses. If you need phone numbers that exceed the limit of the included phone numbers, you can buy additional phone numbers.
To do this, log in to the mypascom portal with your account data and click on the menu . There you will find an overview of all your phone numbers. Click on the button .
In the next step, select the subscription to which you want to add more phone numbers.
In the New phone numbers section you can see how many phone numbers are included in your subscription and how many of them you are already using.
Now click on the button
If you need more phone numbers than are included in your subscription, you can purchase them in addition at the currently applicable rates.
If not already done, the next step requires you to upload a current phone bill or proof of business for verification.
Select phone number block
In the following section you need to select a phone number block in which your phone numbers will be generated.
The 1 phone number block is used for single phone numbers. You can adjust the block size in steps of 10. When using a phone number block with a size of 10 or more, root numbers followed by an extension are generated.
After selecting the block size, you have the option to choose from 3 phone number suggestions. For a phone number block size from 10 phone numbers vary of course only the root numbers.

Clicking on the button will take you to the order overview where you can once again check your data and complete the purchase.
Provisioning period of new pascom phone numbers
New purchased or ported phone numbers usually need 1 business day for provisioning and registration. You can see the status of the phone numbers in the mypascom portal via the menu .
Can I transfer already existing phone numbers to pascom?
If you already have phone numbers with a provider that you would like to transfer to pascom, you can use our porting order. This will port your phone numbers to pascom. Alternatively, you can set up your existing provider on the pascom telephone system, as long as it is supported by pascom. A list of supported providers can be found here.
