Deprecations

Here you will find an overview of services that no longer work with the current pascom version or will not be supported in the future.

Deprecation of the Asterisk Dialplan “System” command

Software

Date with Version
01.04.2024

As of April 1, 2024, we will remove the “System” dialplan command. This command was mainly used in the combinations “System(mail)” or “System(curl)”. For example, to automatically send a notification by e-mail or to forward REST requests to third-party systems.

As a replacement for your own customized scripts or inline scripts, we recommend

Use the notification feature in the actions, which offers a secure and efficient notification alternative. Replace “System(curl)” calls with the Asterisk curl() function call.

You do not have to do anything if you do not use the script function.
