Options and Settings

The following options are available for each block entry:

Option Description
Name A custom name for better management and overview (used for display purposes only).
Number The phone number to block. The input is currently not validated to allow flexibility for different formats. However, please note the required phone number format (see notice below).
Enabled Use this switch to activate or deactivate the entry at any time. This allows you to quickly test or temporarily disable blocks.
Match mode Determines the matching method for the block (see details below).

Important phone number format:

  • The phone number must start with 0 (e.g., 0049991123456 or 0991123456).
  • Do not include special characters. Do not use + (e.g., use 0049... instead of +49...) and do not use separators like / or - (e.g., do not write 0991/123456 or 0991-123456).

Select Match Mode

Administrators can choose between two blocking methods:

  • Exact: Blocks exactly the entered phone number.
  • Begins with: Blocks all incoming calls where the phone number starts with the entered sequence of digits. This is especially useful for recurring spam waves originating from the same range or specific countries (e.g., by entering a country code such as 0044 for the United Kingdom).
